Overview
Continually re-investing to improve Quality, Coverage, and Efficiency
The Connecticut Crane and Hoist companies have provided high quality bridge crane service and new installations in New England since 1987. In 2001, we opened New
England Crane in Lewiston, ME to better serve northern New England. In 2006, we purchased CT Crane and Hoist in Plymouth, CT (25 miles east
of Hartford) and cemented our position as the region's premier provider.
In 2008, we moved our Massachusetts headquarters from a 7,500 sq-ft shop in Chelmsford, MA to a 20,000 sq-ft building on Progress Ave in Tyngsboro, MA. Eleven
years later, Mass Crane grew again, this time staying in Tyngsboro, moving 2 miles south to Potash Hill Road. Their new, 50,000 sq-ft, state of the art facility
is the largest and most modern crane fabrication shop in the northeast. The 75ft by 350ft main fabrication floor includes a 960 sq-ft paint booth, multiple
welding stations, two vertical band saws, a recessed trailer dock, and two 20 ton, dual hoist, 69ft span bridge cranes. Under the same roof you will find
separate 50ft by 40ft bays for small part fabrication and hoist service, a 75ft by 40ft climate controlled component storage bay, as well as Mass Crane's
service, sales, engineering, and administrative departments.
